Over the years, International produced several types of tractors and farming equipment, but in 1907 history took a turn when the International Harvester wagon was unveiled. After 1907 International started to make light trucks, this put them on the map along with the larger companies like Chevy, Ford, and Jeep.The last year for any International Scout For Sale was in 1975. It was a great run.

International went on to manufacture several models of Scout II vehicles and a variety of trucks. However, while sales were up, the books weren’t showing enough of a profit to sustain the company. International Harvester sold its IH logo and the name in 1984, this was the end of the company as we know it.

In 86 the company changed its name and still makes school buses, and heavy duty trucks, under the International name.
